Terms of Services

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 8TEN platform, which is owned and operated by Water and Environment Solutions ("WNE," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Overview of the 8TEN Service

8TEN is a cloud-based software platform that provides Internet of Things (IoT) data monitoring and analytics for energy (electricity and gas), water meters, and other environmental sensors. The platform includes:

  • A Business-to-Business (B2B) dashboard for service providers to manage operations, devices, tenants, and service delivery.

  • A Tenant dashboard (GUI) for end users to monitor their energy/water usage, access historical data, and manage billing and service preferences.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to register for or use the Service. If you are accessing or using the Service on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

When you register, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Use of the Service

Subject to these Terms, WNE grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes as applicable.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.

  • Use the Service to monitor or harvest data without authorization.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

  • Upload, transmit, or share any malicious code or unauthorized data.

4. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. As part of the Service, we may collect data from IoT devices and sensors, usage patterns, and tenant billing and service interaction history.

You retain all rights to the data you input or generate through the Service. However, you grant WNE a license to use this data as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

Service providers are responsible for obtaining consent from tenants before accessing their data and must ensure they comply with applicable privacy laws.

5. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the Service may be subject to payment plans or usage-based fees. Pricing, billing cycles, and payment terms are described in your service agreement or billing portal.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.

6. Service Availability and Support​

We aim to provide continuous access to the Service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, outages, or factors beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide timely support and service updates.

WNE reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time with or without notice.

7. Intellectual Property​

WNE retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, content, and intellectual property, except for user data. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

You may not use our branding, trademarks, or copyrighted materials without prior written permission.

8. Termination​

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting support@wnesolutions.sg. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations accrued prior to termination.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, WNE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
